Ley de la fe

Lo siguiente se me ocurrió mientras meditaba durante un corte de luz, una relación matemática entre dos variables: Fe y evidencias, una relación de proporcionalidad inversa:

Podríamos imaginar a la fe como una cantidad que varía, cuando menos evidencias hay para creer en algo, más fe se necesita.

Divina revelación!

I know some of yoy are going to be skeptical about this, but please let me assure you that is absolutely true. Well, when i say it’s true, it’s not true in the literal sense, obviolusly, but it would be if it were, wich is, I think, the most important thing. It is true in another sense, in what we call biblical sense. In other words it’s fantastically improbable and impossible to verify, so naturally I intend to live my life henceforth in strict accordance with it to the detriment of everyone around me, and I would like everyone to respect that. I would also like to preach this message high and low throughout the land to everyone who wants to hear it, and to everyone who doesn’t. And I would like to continue preaching it at them over and over again wether they like it or not. I’d like to raise large amounts of revenue on the back of this activity, on wich I’d like to pay no tax. I’d like to see my views forced into the educational curriculum, disproportionately represented in the law of the land, and displayed prominently outside every court house, if that’s not too much trouble. And if anyone would like to join my organization, because it will be an organization by this stage, it will only cost them 10 percent of everything they earn for the rest of their life. Praise the lord, brothers and sisters, for he has revealed the truth to me that he’s a figment of our imagination. And furthermore that Christianity is nothing but a primitive death cult masquerading as a religion.

Mi Desktop Ubuntu 7.10

Mejorar las fuentes, instalar un tema GTK y Metacity fue lo único que tuve que hacer para hacerme un escritorio sobrio, estilizado y cómodo. Es muy fácil hacer cambios radicales, instalar gadgets y demás, pero lo prefiero asi. Si algo no lo tengo al alcance de la mano solo tengo que hacer SUPR+ESPACIO y tipear las primeras letras de lo que estoy buscando (GnomeDo).

Derive 6.10 en Ubuntu Gutsy

Derive fue un programa de álgebra computacional desarrollado por Texas instruments. El desarrollo fue abandonado en 2005 pero sigue siendo útil para resolver problemas algebraicos, graficar en 2 y 3 dimensiones, ejecutar el cálculo de derivadas, integrales y muchas cosas más.
